I'm on the edge of Glory

Each day I keep fighting and I feel like I'm on the edge of glory. Glory has to be earned, it's that satisfaction of having earned what you got. It cant be bought, cheated to get, or stolen. It keeps me going letting me know there more to the fight and at the end of it the prize is worth fighting for. Every day is a new fight, new challenges, and a new resolve is needed everyday. Sometimes I don't win the battle but I am fighting and when I do lose I don't lose by much and I get back up the next day and have at it again. It's the edge of glory that I enjoy, it's the fight to win that's the real prize because in the fight that's where we need to live. Live in the fight on the edge of glory !!!

Let's not go see the Bucs

I'm a life long Pittsburgh Pirates Fan which means I've spent about 1/2 of my life watching some of the worst baseball this country has ever seen. I always read up on trades and what's going on with the team trying to find that one thing which will provide me hope and I never quite see it. I don't know what the answer is to the problem is, but I do know that I can't go to a game this year until hope arrives. Bob Nutting will never allow this franchise to be good, let alone great, and I just need to come to terms with the following 1. MLB does not care about Pirate Fans, this franchise provides MLB value as they allow 81 other teams an opponent 2. Bob Nutting is a businessman and does not care. 3. No amount of bitching moaning or complaining will change the situation 4. Any boycott by the fans wont make a dent in the Nutting bottom line as MLB provides a hefty welfare check to him In conclusion the only choice I have is to accept that the Pirates are dead and their is nothing I can do about it.
